What To Expect from Individual Well-being Coaching 

Our well-being is affected by regular exercise, eating nourishing foods, as well as sleep, stress, job happiness and our relationships with others. Taking charge of our well-being is one of the most important steps we can take to improve overall health. 

Success in well-being relies on knowing what you need to do, and how to overcome barriers.  

Partnering with a well-being coach can support you in making lasting lifestyle changes. A dedicated coach will take the time to understand you and any issues that may get in the way of your success. They will help you set S.M.A.R.T. goals. Schedule your first session today! 

How To Schedule a Coaching Session

  2. Complete your health assessment 
  3. View rewards on the incentives page 
  4. Select the personal well-being pillar 
  5. Select well-being coaching 
  6. Click the link to schedule your first schedule session 

Tips For Scheduling Your First Session 

  1. Complete your health assessment before you schedule your session   
  2. Only ONE session is allowed to be scheduled  
  3. When registering use your full legal name. If you go by a nickname or other preferred name add that in the notes section. 
  4. Include your phone number convenient for a private conversation 
  5. Double check your email is entered accurately 
  6. Double check your employee ID is entered accurately 


  • Who should I contact for questions? Reach out to the LiveWELL coaching team directly at  
  • How long are sessions? Sessions can take up to 30 minutes and are focused on what is most important to you. 
  • What if I don’t see any openings when trying to schedule my session? Check back often, new openings are continually being offered. 
  • How much does coaching cost? LiveWELL well-being coaching is available year-round free of charge to all teammates.  
  • Can I earn incentive credit for working with a well-being coach? Completion of two coaching sessions between Oct. 14, 2023, and Oct. 11, 2024, counts as Personal Well-being incentive credit. After your second coaching session, your LiveWELL Coach will report your incentive completion to WebMD.

Atrium Health Floyd teammates enrolled in benefits through Cigna are offered Healthy Lifestyle Habits & Chronic Disease Management coaching and assistance with goal setting for the following areas: stress, smoking cessation and weight management coaching.

Group Coaching

All Teammates Can Participate in Group Coaching  

All teammates have the option of participating in one group coaching session for their personal interest or to fulfill the Personal Well-being incentive option. During a group coaching session, teammates will learn about a health topic and then understand strategies for setting S.M.A.R.T goals. The well-being coach will explain how to identify and overcome potential barriers and roadblocks, which could impact a teammate’s planned goals. The coach will also discuss the importance of celebrating success. Teammates will be encouraged to schedule a 1:1 well-being coaching session to support goal fulfillment and accountability. More sessions will be added throughout the year.
