Teammates

As the region's premier healthcare provider, Advocate Health has a great responsibility to our patients, our teammates and the community, because we recognize the impact our behaviors have on the people we serve. To fulfill this responsibility, we constantly strive to be an inclusive, diverse and respectful workplace.

Our Diversity Agenda is the foundation for which diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives are built across the Advocate Health enterprise. The four main pillars represent and remind us of the people we must impact: Patients, Teammates, Learners and Communities.

As our workforce becomes more diverse, Advocate Health becomes a stronger organization. We are able to provide more culturally competent and sensitive care, better serving our communities that rely on us.

Diversity & Social Impact Report

At Atrium Health, we know we’re better able to serve everyone in our communities when we reflect everyone in those communities. This also means that health equity is in our DNA, it is a part of who we are and what we do. We believe it is our duty to be the leaders in disrupting health inequities for people from everywhere, of every identity and every culture – as patients, as learners, and as teammates – in a place where they know they’ll be respected, appreciated and valued for who they are. We encourage you to see our Diversity and Social Impact Report to understand more about our Social Impact and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Atrium Health.

To see information related to Advocate Health (of which Atrium Health is a part) efforts in the Midwest, including Wisconsin and Illinois, the DE&I Impact Report is also available.
