Teammates

For Atrium Health Navicent Teammates

To be eligible for benefits, you must be a teammate of Atrium Health Navicent. Some plans have additional requirements, such as being scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week to be eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. Teammates scheduled to work 20 to 29 hours a week will pay part-time rates for medical/Rx and dental. Teammates scheduled to work 30 hours or more a week will pay full-time rates for medical/Rx and dental.

You may enroll eligible family members for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Dependent Life coverage. Dependent coverage is also available under some supplemental plans.

For more information on eligibility, please review the Atrium Health Navicent Benefits Eligibility table.

Dependents

Eligible family members may include:

  • Your legal spouse
  • Your children up to age 26, regardless of their student or marital status or residency
  • Your children of any age who are mentally or physically disabled and depend on you for support. (Note: You must certify the disability within 31 days of the dependent’s 26th birthday independently with the medical, dental, and vision providers. You will be asked periodically to resubmit proof.)
    • Eligible children are defined as natural children, legally adopted children, stepchildren, and children for whom you have legal guardianship. See each summary plan description for the specific definition of an eligible dependent or if you have questions about your benefits.
    • If you are adding a dependent, you must upload the appropriate documentation (birth certificate, adoption papers, marriage certificate, etc.) into CORE Connect for dependent verification. You will also be required to upload the appropriate documentation with Alight Dependent Verification Services. Failure to do so will result in your dependents losing coverage. Federal regulations require that you also provide Social Security numbers for all of your covered dependents.
