Atrium Health teammates have access to multiple education
opportunities focused on developing the leadership skills
of individuals, teams, mid- and upper-level leaders. We also
leverage minority- & women-focused programs and strategies
for developing & sponsoring emerging leaders. 1 in 2 was female 1 in 5 was a person of color
Health Career Pathways
• National employer-led workforce development
program launched by the White House in 2016
• We are one of 7 founding members and the lead
employer for the Charlotte region
• 20+ hires since this program began in 2017
Global Youth Workforce Development Program
This program for high school graduates was launched
in Charlotte in 2018. Gene Woods, President and Chief
Executive Officer of Atrium Health, serves on the board
of the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council, which
sponsors the program. So far, 4 graduates of the program
have been hired by Atrium Health.
