Bren Hipp, RN, a nurse and member of the
EQualityOne System Resource Group,
coordinated Atrium Health’s participation in
the 2019 Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade.
Bren and his fiancé, Justin, participated in the
parade with dozens of Atrium Health teammates
and this proposal was a surprise to most everyone
there – especially Bren.

All of a sudden I looked over, he was
on one knee and opened the ring box.
I was in shock! In that moment,
I felt like we were the only two people
in the world. It was the best ending to
an awesome weekend celebrating that
love is love, and love always wins.”
