Ensuring Equal Outcomes Through the FOR ALL Health Equity Goal
The creation of the Demographic Data Wall shed light on opportunities to provide care for specific populations. The new knowledge inspired
action to increase the number of male Hispanic or Latino patients who receive colorectal cancer screenings.
Targeted efforts to contact and educate Hispanic or Latino male patients resulted in the scheduling of more than 200 additional colorectal
cancer screenings. The rate of eligible male patients from Hispanic or Latino backgrounds who received colorectal cancer screenings increased
from 63.6% in 2018, to 68.5% in late 2019.
