Extension of Certain TimeFrames for Employee Benefits Plans, Participants, and Beneficiaries Affected by the COVID-19 Outbreak
During these challenging times of the COVID-19 National Emergency, the IRS has relaxed rules around timeframes for submitting certain benefit elections and changes. The timeframes are extended beginning March 1, 2020 until sixty (60) days after the announced end of the National Emergency.
Examples of extended timeframes include submitting benefit changes due to a Qualifying Life Event and electing COBRA continuation coverage.

After the initial benefits enrollment period, you may change your elections upon new eligibility, when you have a qualifying life event or during Open Enrollment. Qualifying life events include: :
If you are a benefits eligible teammate and have experienced one of these qualifying life event changes in the last 31 days, please print the LiveWELL Health Plan Benefits Enrollment and Change Form. Complete the form and follow the instructions to submit it to Benefits.
To update your dependent information only, use the Dependent Information Change Form.

Please note: Benefits Enrollment and Changes will be submitted via Benefits Enrollment and Change Form until December 11, 2020 and will be made in COREConnect self-service in 2021.
